About Me
Necati Ozdemir is a Professor in the Mathematics Department at Balikesir University where he has been a faculty member since 2001. He is the Director of Graduate School of Natural Sciences. From 2011 to 2013, he was the head of Ivrindi Health Services Vocational School.
Professor Ozdemir completed his PhD at University of Exeter in 2000, his MSc at University of Warwick in 1997 and his undergraduate studies at Marmara University in 1992. His research interests lie in the area of control theory and applications, optimization theory, fractional calculus and applications, financial mathematics, biological model and numerical methods, ranging from theory to design to implementation. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines.
He has served on several conference and workshop program committees and served as the Co-chair for the ICAME'18. He also served as a guest editor for reputed international journals and publishers including Springer and International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation. He currently serves on the editorial board of IJOCTA.
