Prof.Dr. Hulya KARA SUBASAT Click for CV
Our research group works on the investigation of the crystal structure and the magnetic properties of novel polynuclear Schiff base transition metal complexes which show interesting magnetic properties. These materials which show magnetic properties have very important technological applications as the storage of information at the molecular and nanoscale level. The development and diversification of these new technologies and their application areas will depend on the development of the new materials that show magnetic properties. We are planning to develop new magnetic materials which show interesting magnetic properties such as single molecule magnet and search for their technological applications.

Asist. Prof. Dr. Yasemin YAHSI ACAR Click for CV
Yasemin finished PhD in 2010. She was interested in the design and synthesis of novel crystal structures based on tridentate and tetradentate Schiff bases and tripodal ligands- typically dinuclear, tetranuclear and hexanuclear transition metal (Fe,Mn,Cu) complexes. Her research interests include X-ray diffraction of single crystals, structural analysis and magnetic measurements. She has been studied on molecular magnetism with Prof. Andrea Caneschi and his group Laboratory of Molecular Magnetism (LAMM) at University of Florence-Department of Chemistry (Florence/Italy), under the European Union Life Long Learning /Erasmus Student Exchange Programme.

Dr. Elif GUNGOR  Click for CV
Elif finished PhD in 2011. She is interested in the design and synthesis of novel crystal structures based on  dinuclear and cubic metal (Fe,Mn,Cu) complexes. Her research is focused synthesis, investigation of crystal structure and magnetic properties of new polynuclear schiff base transition metal complexes.

Dr. Mustafa Burak COBAN Click for CV
Burak finished PhD in 2016. His research is based on “Multifuctional lanthanide compounds: design and properties” in Balikesir University. His research is interested production and investigation of crystal structure, magnetic properties and photoluminescence properties of new family Ln-MOFs. These materials show more important magnetic propetries. Therefore, lanthanide ions have become good candidates to synthesize single molecule magnets (SMMs) and single chain magnets (SCMs). And also Lanthanide-based materials can generate a narrow strong emission bands via an Antenna Effect.
