Research Interests

My research was focused on hot electron assisted light emission in GaAs/AlGaAs based low dimensional heterostructures and quantum wells during my Ph.D. A novel light emitting diode referred to as HELLISH-2, which operates independently from the polarity of applied voltage in hot electron regime has been developed. During my postdoctoral study I worked on investigation of electrical and optical properties of dilute nitrides InGaAsN and wide band gap semiconductor materials like GaN, ZnO and SiC. I have been also involved in the development and characterization of GaN/AlGaN multiple quantum well UV-Photodetectors. In general, I am doing experimental condensed matter physics, and engage myself in investigation of the fundamental properties of semiconductors and developing new devices for electronic and optoelectronic applications.
